  1. Wow, that’s awesome!

I’ve only seen it once, very faintly, myself since I’ve lived in southern Norway my whole life.

This painting makes me want to see it too

  2. I love this, so much! You are really talented. The colours here are just making me really happy for some reason. Thanks for sharing and I hope you get to see the lights in person someday.

  3. This is very good. You got talent.

I would suggest keeping an eye on solar activity and visit northern Norway in winter during a time of high solar activity.

I think the next maximum is expected to be in 2024/2025.

Iceland and northern Sweden are also possible travel destinations to see the auroras. In theory you could also visit Russia, Canada or Alaska, but in some of those areas you’d have to go really far into remote areas to get the best views as much of it is wilderness, but it’s not impossible as I know there are travel agencies that specialize in this.

  4. I just love the dramatic take on this. It’s so different from other northern lights paintings I’ve seen, with their smooth lines and blend. I love the hard lines that show the fighting spirit of the dancing lights! I love seeing the nothern lights dancing over the sky each winter, I live on the north west coast of Norway which kinda in the middle (north-south wise) and we see them quite often this time of year.

  5. I’m in the north of Norway rn if you are to travel here I’d suggest you come during late November or early December in Lofoten as it has long nights so you have a higher chance of seeing it
