Man of authority assaults a 16 year old. Regardless of what the 16 year old did he shouldn’t have been assaulted by the garda. Garda clearly had no control. Deserves what he gets. If a garda who assaults people is on the street i don’t want that garda out there

Especially when things like the playground in Cork Street got burned down. Then when someone has a heavy hand with one a load come out and defend them and complain about the Gardai.
Anyone with legal knowledge know or can speculate as to what charges they’re pressing on the coppers?
Is it like like of those store security illegal arrest kind of situations whereby touching someone and requesting them to wait for the police is considered assault and false imprisonment.
Did the covid emergency legislation not allow them to arrest and use handcuffs for refusing to wear a mask and that’s what happened? It just doesn’t make much sense otherwise.
