Wouldn’t a positive decision (yes go ahead) create a huge precedent for future requests like this? Like I live in Zwijndrecht and when I want to have a pool in my garden, I’m probably going to have to pay around 20eur per 1000L of water they pimp out of the soil. That’s huge. Honestly, knowing what I know now, I wish they would have just kept their mouths shut about this entire PFOS scandal. For the people who live here nothing is really changeing. We’re not living in a country like the US where we could so the shit out of 3M and all become billionaires afterwards.

Ik ken de exacte kostprijs niet, maar is die extra kost geen peanuts vergeleken met de investering die de tunnel vergt?
Zuiver dat water eens voor die berekende 20 miljoen en stuur de rekening naar integraal naar 3M. Echt moeilijk is dat niet om te beslissen.
Now this might be a stupid idea of me, but can’t we pump this water into large tankers and release it far away from our coast?
That way it would easily be diluted 20 times, meeting all norms, and we wouldn’t shit where we eat.
