I think she’ll either not turn up to pmqs and that’ll be it, or she’ll turn up and that really will be it 😂
I actually think she’ll survive now.
She has a use – as a lightning rod/punching bag for Austerity 2.0 and whatever comes over the winter.
They can dump it all on her, then get rid and “fresh” start next year. Suits all the contenders, especially Johnson who needs time for people to forget Partygate.
I reckon she should call a general election and then just dip.
Imagine – all those MPs plotting against her, all lose their seats. It would be so satisfying for her. Come on Liz! Burn it all down on your way out!
Shouldn’t this be the time our apolitical, elected Head of State, steps in and dissolves parliament according to the written constitution?
I’m thinking there has to be a GE in the next few months (6 months at a push) surely? I would like to think the public wouldn’t stand for another leadership race, that is probably what will happen though…
If you want a general election you’ll have to protest for it
They could let each tory MP have 2 days as PM that should take us through the next 2 years.
Yeah, lots ‘could’ happen. I ‘could’ win the lottery.
Imagine for the next two years each Tory MP would do PM each week so they all get the ex PM salary.
IMO the best option for Tory backbenchers is to vote down the next budget from the chancellor.
Voting down a budget forces a general election. Which the Tories will lose. But Liz’s actions have made that certain anyway. The backbenchers will have a good chance to retain their seats, because they voted down an unpopular budget.
As for “Withdrawal of the party whip”. Those backbenchers *will be the Tory party* after the next election.
Tories are nothing if not ruthless in getting rid of leaders
Cruella is a slavering loon.
No content, just noise and spittle.
I didn’t think it was possible but she’s actually more cloth eared than Dorries.
In this photo above doesn’t it seem like she’s on some kind of drugs?
Her face is like mine when I’m at that tipsy point and I’ve down a few codine. Just content, happy and overall oblivious to the problems around me.
She looks like a puppet on a shelf. Who has their hand up Kermits ass?
I mean, she was apparently their best option in their latest leadership election. Someone who basically destroyed the economy in her first 2 weeks, and plunged the Pound down to being it’s lowest in ages (I remember when it was basically two to one to the dollar and everything was so cheap from America – now it’s super expensive).
If she was their best option, I’d hate to see who would replace her.
Ideally call an election, let the people finally have some say, and kick the tories out. They’ve filled their pockets end emptied everyone elses enough…
