Replacing her would likely lead to a GE which actually would probably calm the markets, so the plan is quite clearly to turn her into the ‘missing stair’ and work around her rather than with her.

For long term stability we need a party with a credible mandate. We don’t even know what, if anything, remains of the 2019 manifesto.
The only people who don’t want a general election are those who know they have two years in their jobs at most and will need to find another income stream to maintain the lifestyle they have become accustomed to living. No more cars, housing allowances and expense accounts must be terrifying for some of the younger career politicians who have never had a proper career outside of politics.

I think it will. Markets like certainty/sure bets. There is none with her, she keeps going back on forth on *every* policy, there is no consistency with her.
Do you remember when they said we couldn’t change pm due to ukraine? Now they can’t change a pm because it might not fully reverse the damage caused…by the pm!
