Obscene but not the staffs fault but yeah if he was a relative of mine I would be very annoyed
After spending 6 days in hospital earlier this year and several shorter stays since, unfortunately I haven’t seen any of the heroics mentioned here… The hospital I was in wasn’t short of beds, my ward was half empty yet all I experienced was laziness and complete lack of care.
I kept thinking why do these people work in health care if they clearly hate it/us(the patients) so much?
The apology has come from the wrong place, it is the Tories who have relentlessly underfunded and torn up the NHS to sell off for over a decade who are responsible.
Having spent a week in hospital about this time last year, im not surprised. A&E was sheer chaos and when I eventually got put on a ward it was packed out with aggressive pensioners giving the two nurses on the ward abuse
