  1. I like to talk shit on the Dutch election system from time to time but compared to the UK way of electing representatives our system atleast seems to function the way that it is supposed to function.

And atleast i can choose multiple parties even if the ballot has to be folded open like a map of the world.

  2. What’s going on over there? Seems to be a total clusterfuck, and yet people want to re-elect those responsible? How bad are the other candidates?!

  3. Is libdem the closest thing to Democrats here in the US? I’m not going to even pretend Labour has an equivalent here

  4. Labour ain’t getting into power until the conservatives really fuck up. I can’t even imagine what they’d have to do for Labour to be seen as a better alternative.

  5. The Conservative party are the government in power during **multiple** crisis. Including a global pandemic, a global logistical crisis, a global energy crisis, an upcoming global inflation crisis, a potential financial crash of the entire global system triggered by China, the collapse of the global just in time supply chain, a domestic NHS crunch as all the things ignored because of covid finally start to need looking at.

And the Labour Party, her majesty’s opposition, in a position of having the easiest open goal politically in British history, is instead doubling down on woke talking points to try look good on Twitter. Shrieking that women don’t have cervixs, white people need to stop asking questions and shut up, calling the working class stupid ignorant xenophobes and bigots etc.

    What a fucking ridiculous situation!
