Hello,
The rental car company sent me an invoice with simply the amounts they said I need to be paid. There is no explanation as to how they calculated this charges or why the charges are there 6 months later.
Can someone help me understand?

If you have no idea what these charges are for, how should we? If you have recieved a letter from them, you can cover all the sensitive data, post it on imgur amd reply here with a link. We can help then.
The document you posted is from a debt collection company. This means you must have received previous emails/messages from the car rental company asking you to pay what you may owe.
All they’re saying is you have a “debt” with them, without specifying a reason.
Contact the car rental company and ask what it is about.
It may be something simple as your having returned the car with an empty tank when it should have been full.
It can also be a charge for damages you made or a scam trying to charge you for damages you did not cause. What company did you use? Have you taken photos of the car when renting it out?
In any case, receiving a bill 6 moths after the rental is not unusual in of itself.
