When I try to book a flight on [swiss.com](https://swiss.com), I seem to be getting Lufthansa’s booking system instead of Swiss’ system.
Apart from (in my humble opinion) looking much worse than the Swiss interface, Lufthansa’s interface doesn’t allow entering any frequent flyer ID that’s not Miles & More.
Did anyone figure out if it’s still possible to access the old interface somehow?

Are we about to get grounded again?
Germans are usually pretty disabled when it comes to designing good UX/UI. Even users of Audis and BMWs regularely switch to their Android/Apple Car interface because the built-in is so stupid!
Yes they are. I’ve heard from an employee that some flights aren’t showing up in the system.
Swiss and Luftansa are part of Star Aliance, so it could be a decision to uniform everything under one platform.
Sounds logical as Swiss is a subsidy of Lufthansa
swiss is owned by lufthansa – i wouldnt be surprised if they kill the brand “swiss” completely in the near future.
you might try the mobile app to get a better experience.
I liked the old UI better too, but let’s be honest: it has been completely broken for a while. Basically every booking had random “technical errors”, it was impossible to change your billing address, rebooking never worked without calling the service center, etc.
It seems like they’re still migrating and there are bugs, but it’s already an improvement: I managed to rebook a flight by myself on the Swiss website, without having to wait 30 minutes on the phone. For this airline, that’s a major achievement.
Basically Swiss becomes the easy jet brand of Lufthansa Group .
Using Swiss for my past few flights got me higher prices than the same flights for lufthansa. What gives?
Has for ages no?
fun fact, last week i’ve purchased round trip ticket for swiss air through austrian air website, skyscanner forwarded there as it was less expensive for about 50 franks. but check-in and all other stuff handled through swiss official website.
NEVER book over Swiss, I always book with Air Brussels and get the Swiss flights around 50.- cheaper than they cost on Swiss. And they are the SAME flights, Lufthansa is also basically always cheaper than Swiss + you still get your miles for the flight as you would if you booked over Swiss.
Yes the UI of lufthansa itself looks worse but when it comes to usability it’s better in opiniom due to you being able to see which connections are cheaper on which dates, event over multiple months you can see when it’s cheapest to fly somewhere.
As far as i know you can enter your frequent flyer ID in the finished booking itself (so when the booking is completed and paid for)
I’ve had this happen on a return flight from Male where Swiss has no check-in and instead used the one by Lufthansa.
Swiss belongs to lufthansa.
You’re welcome
Swiss Air is Lufthansa
