076 numbers being withdrawn by Skype (possibly all other service providers) in 2022 due to some new Irish regulations. Anyone have any insights on this?

2. I believe it is a move away from VoIP Numbers (i.e non geographic numbers) and they are now only offering geographic numbers (i.e. 01 for Dublin, 021 for Cork, etc.). I wonder if it has anything to do with the prevalence of scam calls.

3. They *could* bring in a 0818 number to replace the 076 numbers. But I’m guessing Skype doesn’t own enough 0818 numbers.

4. In totally unrelated news is this why Liveline changed their number from 1850 to 0818?
