  1. It might take another day or so but I imagine the situation will resolve itself. There’s no way they can stay up there for long without food, water and sleep. So they’ll either fall off or climb down of their own accord.

  2. Rather ironic that Stop Oil are ensuring thousands of vehicles need to embark on lengthy and fuel costly detours. Guess they didn’t really think of that. “You have 24 hours to disband the Roman Empire,,,”

  3. It’s funny how all these things are happening just as the Tories are trying to get increasingly draconian anti-protest laws through.

It’s almost as if…no, I mustn’t get my conspiracy hat on.

  4. These guys are heroes. There is no need for long distance car travel now everyone works from home.

We need to outlaw all forms of transport except bikes and busses.

  5. I mean, I live in the area and traffic was mega fucked yesterday because of it, but I can’t help but admire these guys for protesting in what is really a perfect way. They’re so high up the coppers won’t dare go near them.

  6. My local hospital at Darrent Valley has many staff who live in Essex and commute in. As a result of this a huge number of appointments have had to be cancelled as staff can’t get to work so the backlog is going to get even worse.

  7. The longer it takes to get them down, the more others will attempt it after. Once it’s shown you can cause a good amount of chaos, others will do it as well.

I wonder if any bookies are taking odds on how long they will last?
