I knew there was something about Trevor I liked 😏

  1. Ah bless him, he’s been having a difficult time lately since Trump left, at least the UK has given him some new material.

  2. northern Ireland isn’t apart of Great Britain, you’re thinking of the United kingdom

  3. Yeah it’s always nice when foreigners know the difference between the UK and Britain, people often get the two mixed up.

  4. We really should start calling it Big Britain. That is a better translation of the original meaning, and there is nothing great about it.

  5. No British person is going to argue with that map. Great Britain refers to the island that Scotland, England and whales is on. I could be wrong but I don’t think they should be including those islands to the north of Scotland

  6. Why is this a top post? This is a nothingburger.
Great Britain highlighted with Great Britain written over it. What exactly did Trevor do here OP?

  7. “UK” is an insidious term that was unfortunately accepted by Irish people. The full title is United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland”. “United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland And Its Sordid History“ would be a more honest title

  8. Uhm, it says Great Britain. Northern Ireland is not part of GB, never was. It is part of the UK (for some stupid reason), but not the GB, it is just the islan what contains England, Wales, and Scotland, afaik.

  9. How is the daily show these days? That was a mini institution when Stewart was doing it. I gave Trevor a go for awhile but did not enjoy it all. Seemed to fall off a cliff but that’s just prob cause it’s not on my radar

  10. Doubt Trevor created the graphic. Don’t think he would care anyway or not if a bit of the smaller island was coloured orange.

  11. 500 upvotes. That sky wanker is right perhaps about more education. I remember being told in primary school that northern ireland is ‘a part of england’

  12. It becomes more confusing when you see people from Northern Ireland in the Olympics on *’Team GB’

^(*Yes the full name is ‘Team GB & Northern Ireland’ but they only ever really refer to it as ‘Team GB’)
