Penny mordaunt was, imo..at the time… One of the better Tories (even if I disagree with everything the Tories do). After listening to her just….. She’s just more of the same. Defending the indefensible… Parroting the Tory lies about labour, brexit, the current state of the economy etc.

I mean, I’ve seen a lot of political crap happen in the country over my lifetime from Thatcher to Boris, but never seen anything near like the state we’re in right now.

Its a total disgrace. First Johnson puts off resigning but plays about on holiday for weeks. Then there’s weeks of nothing during the leadership election and conference season. Now the Prime Minister is shirking responsibilities again. We could be looking at another dragged out leadership election before Christmas.
Meanwhile people are dealing with a cost of living crisis exacerbated by the Truss government’s one disastrous attempt to actually do some work. At what point are unions going from being patient to waiting for the Tories to stop taking the mickey?

Truss is so brave, so fucking brave to turn up to her own job and sit like a malfunctioning robot behind Penny the spin machine, battle axe, bullshiter. The conservatives are just plain stupid to think the optics of the day where anything but disastrous, truss looked like she had sharted, when she did turn up, and couldn’t even stand up to show a little backbone. The rest of the conservative dross just kept trying to claim some kind of win from their many recent own goals. It was just embarrassing to watch, give us a general election now please, it’s what the people want.
