So, in a manner of speaking, she’s saying she’s not going anywhere?
Given her track record of everything she’s ever said turning out to be wrong, why are we even listening to anything she says?
She’s like Theon Greyjoy giving that big speech before being knocked over the head and given to the Boltons.
She’s averaging four blinks per syllable, it’s highly disturbing!

I genuinely find it hard to believe anyone can be this removed from reality and be in public office.
You were elected by less than 1% of the public and have less than 30% support of your own MPs.
You have in a week plunged the country and the economy into a recession, and left a whole in spending that when reality sinks in, may well lead to bigger cuts than in 2012. Austerity 2.o is the upshot of this Trussanomic Trussterfuck.
She wanted to fix everything by being fast and furious, but ended up fucked and feckless.
She should do the decent thing and let the public decide hers and her parties fate.

Good. Let’s have that election now then. The country can’t survive being led for two years by someone whose own party has decided needs babysitting by her new Chancellor. It’s fucking absurd.
Clearly she’s delusional. However I don’t understand the optics at play here. By all accounts the men in the grey suites are calling the shots – forcing her to ditch Kwarteng, installing Hunt as a stable pair of hands and de facto leader – who promptly set about ripping up her economic plans and almost everything she stood for in her leadership campaign…
Yet they’re allowing her to do media interviews? After the utter debacle earlier where Mordaunts’ tone made it appear something truly significant was occurring behind the scenes – only for her to wander in to the House of Commons looking like she’d overdosed on some pretty strong tranquilizers and sit there looking honestly like she wasn’t sure what was happening.
Surely if she is well and truly done for they should be going all out to keep her under the hypothetical desk and away from public scrutiny? Or are they going to wheel her out to do Press interviews, and PMQs on Wednesday, and let a bad situation get almost unimaginably (for the Conservatives) worse?
New PM within a month, GE within 6 months once people really feel the pinch & we see some unrest.
Beyond glad we avoided chaos with Ed..
Agent Truss really is a fantastic Saboteur. She deserves a medal.
That was incredibly painful to watch. I’m actually starting to feel sorry for her. On course for a mental breakdown.
She just keeps making it worse for herself, it’s so so cringey now. Just go woman.
I think she thinks she can do this job because she’s only ever spoken “the party line” and never deviated from the ridiculous sound bites they use when they’re put under scrutiny (see any of her interviews, soundbite after scripted fucking soundbite) and miraculously made some kind of success out of it.
Now though, she actually has to be able to handle scrutiny, have some self awareness and give solid well thought out answers that back up her claims/ideas – but she simply can’t do it. She crumbles under the slightest bit of pressure from journalists or anyone else. She’s a simpleton that has somehow ended up running the country, I really, really hope this is a massive warning to the UK and her constituents to never let a moron like this anywhere near No. 10 ever again.

I’m glad she’s trying to do that. She’s so ridiculously incompetent it gives us a great chance of kicking the money grabbing tories out.
Between her and Rishi – he was more competent and likely to keep power longer. She seemed a complete disaster (and have proved that thought to be correct) and gave us hope of the Tories finally losing.
Who else has managed to completely fuck up the country so quickly?
