Tangential, but I wish they’d not use the term ‘defiled’ in these cases. This word implies her being spoilt or ruined even, whereas her essential self remains her own business, no matter what awful outrage was done to her. It’s a terribly Victorian and paternal word, and always seems to add an extra layer of insult and even shame to the victim of abuse.

A solute shame he can’t be named, if he has a wife and kids then he surely has stamp 4 permission, or pending stamp 4 permission, and this has to be renewed regularly. His permission could be revoked and a deportation order made against him so a soon as he gets out he’s fucked off for good
