Happy republic day TURKEY. Yaşa MUSTAFA KEMAL PASHA.
Let’s just hope that we enter the 100 years with a better government! Happy Republic Day!
99 years ago today, it was declared by the Turkish Grand National Assembly with the leadership of Mustafa Kemal (later known as Ataturk).
Get out of Cyprus, then we can talk
Cok Yasa Kemal Pasa!

When the surname law introduced, the parliament offered him the Atatürk surname which means Father of The Turks. He rejected it first, later on the people started to refer him as Atatürk even though his surname was not Atatürk yet. Afterwards he accepted Atatürk surname. I know it’s kinda unrelated but I just wanted to say, you know
