Cool, I collect Roman coins. Is it worth any few Bob?
I have a 1928 one, which I believe is the first year of Mint, but it’s not in great nick.
If it was such a Free State then why did they need money, huh?
Can’t remember the years but some of those have silver in them. And they’re just cool coins in general
Cool!

In old old money
I have a 1942
Unless you’ve big hands that’ll be an old florin aka 2 shillings, born of an abortive late Victorian attempt to decimalise the £sd system. Seems pointless when there was already a 2.5 shilling coin (half crown) but what am I, a minter? There are a lot of Americans who will pay $20 for that coin, believe it or not.

I have 2 of them. It’s a shame they are worn.
