Funding for think tanks also needs to be transparent… I’m sure alot of 55 tufton’s funding comes from people we would rather not have involved in British politics….
So silence those whose arguments we don’t agree with. That’s not how democracy is supposed to work.

So who would determine what’s true science vs fake science? Politicians? Whoever it is, the power will be abused
Urghhh, be careful what you wish for. Wanting the government to decide whether or not your “charity” operate based on ideological purity or being based on fact is a pretty dangerous path to go down.
We currently have the Tories in power, what other things do you think that they think are not deserving of charitable status?
