I mean, from what the article says the mother was out on a quad bike herself with her kid, parked it in the landing zone of a jump, and there was a horrible accident.
Was the guy a fuckwit getting highland doing jumps in the park? Yeah he was. Should he get in trouble? Damn right he should. Should he get in much much more trouble if he does something like this again? Definitely. But this is a fuckwit having an accident, not someone who was out to hurt people.
Cases like this are exactly why we have suspended sentences. Good call by the judge on this one if you ask me.

He admitted to going around Ballyfermot on the scrambler for years without being stopped. Not a bit surprised.
