How do I fit these connections for my washing machine?

Hey everyone!
Recently moved to Germany to be with my girlfriend, and I’m having some trouble installing my Washing Machine, but maybe I am just dumb and not used to the plumbing here 🙂

Basically, my machine has a cold water intake and a water disposal hose. Neither of these seem to fit the connectors inside my apartment. Am I doing something wrong, or do I need to buy some adapters?

I’m mainly asking here because if I do need some adapters, I’d love to know the German names for those so that I can actually tell people at the hardware store what I need!

The disposal hose is roughly the same size as the connector but the rubber part can’t be expanded enough to fit over it, but also can’t be squeezed enough to fit inside of it without leaking.

On the other hand, the water intake connector seems to be the same size but for some reason it won’t screw onto the tap at all, it just spins endlessly, and if I try and force it I’m just damaging the plastic screw-on.
