Honestly, I cared wildly more about this when I had to remember to change alarm clocks twice a year and periodically make sure that clocks were correct.
Today, I have an alarm clock that resyncs to the [US radio broadcasts out of Denver](https://www.nist.gov/pml/time-and-frequency-division/time-distribution/radio-station-wwv); it [looks like Europe has similar broadcasts](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radio_clock#List_of_radio_time_signal_stations). I have a cell phone that resyncs to the cell network’s clocks, and a tablet and computers that sync off NTP servers on the Internet. I have a GPS navigation device that syncs off the clock in the GPS broadcasts. The computers accept their timezone being manually input once and then forgotten about, and the GPS and cell devices already know what timezone they’re in. I only have a handful of clocks that don’t sync to anything and none of them are that critical. The only manually-set, non-synchronizing one I care enough about to bother updating is one of my car clocks.
Since my clock is syncing by itself, I don’t care. Should I choose, summer time.
This debate happens every autumn and spring. Everybody will never be pleased. As an evening crochet I do prefer the daylight savings during summer, during winter I don’t see sun anyway, so it doesn’t matter then. However I know many early bird really needs and wants the winter time.
For the countries around equator line, no change make sense..
On the other hand, for the countries in the north (ex.scandinavia), i think, this clock change is logical..
We (the Spanish) don’t even have the correct time zone, the hour change makes it even weirder remembering the still blue skies at 10pm during summer to the autumn black night at 5pm with just a few months in between lmao
