Of course it’s insignificant. The anglosphere makes a whole fuss about this, because they love boycotts and stances which don’t cost anything (despite what China says). If they could, they would probably rename their chinese restaurants in “taiwanese restaurants”.
It wouldn’t be insignificant if most countries partook.
But even in that case it would be a token gesture at best.
C’est la honte de la France. En prennant cette decision, la France a effectivement abandoné ses valeurs dont le droit de l’homme et la liberté. La Chine ne peut que se rejouir en voyant telle lâcheté.
