Primary pupils won’t be excluded for no masks – Dept

  1. I think they should be wearing masks but stopping children attend school goes against the right to education, set out in UN declaration of human rights. We can’t stop them from going to school without breaking that

  2. Does anyone know where the Christmas crackers are gone, has anyone seen them. Disappeared for some strange reason

  3. This looks like caving to anti maskers. It’s much more to do with the legal minefield of excluding kids from school.

  4. I’d imagine most of the commenters here who are calling out parents don’t have to listen to a 10 year old every morning saying that he can’t breathe or crying because he is going into a school in temperatures in the single digits with every window and door open.

My wee fella absolutely Hates wearing a mask for 6 hours a day. What’s infuriating for me is:

We have come through nearly two years Of this shite constantly been told schools are safe.

We have by in large managed to keep our kids shielded from alot of the nasty stuff, not wearing masks in primary has been one of the great ways to help with this.

They constantly told us that any cases in schools for the past 18 or so months have been household cases or community transmission.

For a lot of us it’s not the wearing of the mask that is the issue, it’s how badly the government have managed schools during this pandemic. That has caused this.

Both me and the wife are double jabbed, we have followed all restrictions, went months without seeing our parents, will take the booster when it comes.

  5. Since anti maskers are so clever and know everything why don’t they just home school their children instead of sending them into a building full of ‘sheep’ who wear masks?!
