Former Dublin office complex to provide homes for more than 200 people

  1. This is a good news story but converting these offices into apartments took two years and €309,000 per apartment. Blew my mind.

  2. €26 Million for 86 apartments means an average of 302k per apartment… Isn’t this a little high? Maybe I’m wrong but 302k seems a lot for an apartment in park West… Daft has apartments there at 230k right now…

  3. Expensive process, but better than having just more wasted space. If we could get similar works done in the old office buildings in city centre that would be great work.

  4. It’s happening quite a bit around west Dublin. You have this, the SIAC offices near the red cow are being converted for Ukrainians and a Gym beside Liffey Valley has been converted to apartments.

  5. Interesting facts!

I worked on this site and there is mould in almost every apartment walls and they were never replaced while I was there.

Can mould be removed from walls or must they be ripped and replaced without mould?

Pretty sure I have photos if anyone for any reason wants a look.

That shite was the most disgusting place I’ve worked on.
