There are a whole load of Moron in the Jura. Moron forest, cliffs, rocks, mountain, tower, cheese, and village. I have never actually been able to figure out where this name comes from, I assume a ruling family or some long disused word?
Either way a visit to Moron and the Moron tower (if/when they rebuild it) is as good a way to spend a day in the Jura as any.
