    We’re in a diabolical state, many many people are just outright fucked with the cost of everything. And no way your wage is going to go up even a fraction of the amount of inflation.

  2. About to display my ignorance of economics but i have a burning question i cant keep in

    If my assumption is correct that as Russian gas is taken off the market reducing the overall supply and raising the market price, it means the remaining suppliers can command higher wholesale prices, how is it that world governments allow suppliers to charge higher wholesale prices and make even more money off the misery of the poor?

    Presumably, when the price was much lower, the costs of those suppliers now left in the game had the same costs then as they do now and were thus making profit then, just because they can now command a higher price doesn’t mean they should surely?
