Congratulations, also that’s a cute iron.
If you haven’t tried waffle with cardamom, I highly recommend it. It’s mostly common in northern Norway, but I think everyone should have some cardamom in the batter.
For me this is Normal style waffle maker no Norwegians included
Did you make sure its the right voltage and plug for your country?
Shouldve gone for a double 😀
Looks a bit small but maybe it’s just the image
As a non-Norwegian living in Norway, you are not Norwegian without a waffle iron.
And one of the things they eat is brown cheese and raspberrie jam (berries usually). And sour cream / strawberries combos as well.
Their dairy is out of this world good. As well as berries (the long summer makes it super sweet, natural way). If you ever have a chance…yes.
And….you need a double waffle maker…
ONE OF US! ONE OF US!
That’s cute
Neat, enjoy your waffles!
Wait a minute, waffle irons is a norwegian thing? I thought everyone had one
Wtf no double iron?
Cute! I have a personal preference for 4 waffle hearts, not 5.
But THAT is a different discussion!
i’m so proud of u
Are there any decent ones with US plugs?
Just bought myself a joful cast iron one a bit ago but it needs some cleaning up.
If you are really foing to get a fantastic waffle experience, DM me, and I’ll share with you a secret recepie 😀
But this is a single one! You need a double one that makes two !
You know what? I don’t even follow the Norway sub, but get posts off it suggested all the time (and often read them – I guess that’s why they keep appearing). I’ve loved to learn about the norwegian (cardamom-)waffle culture! one more reason, why i should finally visit. greetings from the alps.
just a single why not a double?
This is the way.
You might like waffles with brunost, though it’s not everyone’s favourite I absolutely love it

they’ve sold 6 million of these the past 20 years… there are 5.5 million people in norway
What do you plan to put on top of your waffle?
Ahh, me too! You’ve inspired us all, I’ve already been shopping scouting out the best heart waffle maker.
Also remember Waffle Friday, it’s mandatory to celebrate that. Yes, every Friday!
Also quite common in Iceland
