Interestingly, DCs should have a back up power solution for 5 days anyway. Why would they need any more?
And I’m not convinced DCs are stockpiling diesel either. In fact, I’ve heard that after review, those companies having found they have more than 5 days worth of fuel are burning it (I.e running the DCs via the generators) to save utility costs.
Is there a shortage?
Last time the media ran this shit the created panic buying and caused a shortage
