The marketing doesn’t appear to mention this much, but the movie is directed by Roar Uthaug, and he is generally a dependable genre director. Best known for Cold Prey and The Wave, I guess. He also directed the most recent Tomb Raider movie, which perhaps suffered a bit from the usual foreign director’s first Hollywood movie syndrome – i.e., the producers having the final say.
