A quick search tells me bus fare is £1.65. That seems incredibly low.
Edit: Makes sense:
>Bus passengers across England are paying “massively unfair” fares of up to £6 for a single journey, four times the amount Londoners are charged to traverse the capital, Guardian research has found.
Double digit percent, to clarify the article. Not that every fare is going up by at least £10.
Good. It’s already far too cheap there compared with other areas of the country
Havent bus fares already gone up 10% from 1.50 to 1.65 this year
Diesel has gone up in price. Electricity has gone up in price. Gas that is used to heat TfL buildings has gone up in price.
So of course fares are going to go up.
God forbid Londoners pay more than 10p to travel 40 miles.
