Hold up, when did they introduce legislation to reduce the percentage of electricity generated by nuclear power by half by 2035?
If they’d been treating climate change seriously rather than chasing money and pretending that there wasn’t a problem looming, then we wouldn’t have to scramble and could have done all this strategically.
And that ‘they’ includes the majority of ordinary people who let their politicians off the hook because they want to ignore the problem and act as though *they* just need to make enough money to have an advertising-standard lifestyle.
Create nuclear reactors at home.
