Bet he still votes for it when it comes down to it though. It’s all well and good to have a wee snipe at a former colleague you don’t like, but ignoring the party whip takes an actual spine.
To be fair I thought this was a plan all the way along.
We already use Diego Garcia as our “black site” but that’s way off on the other side of the world and not exactly practical for most purposes. Having our own Gitmo closer to home would open up a whole new world of possibilities and fully exonerate us from anything that happened there. It would obviously be at huge cost to the tax payer but I guess that’s a good thin, no?
