Surprised how little has been made of Hunt the Cunt cutting cost of living support from 2 years to 6 months.
People were demanding action and now it seems almost forgotten about.
26 million people cut spending. Recession ensues. Government ‘shocked pikachu’.
ah yeah our daily reminder that we’re all fucked in a few months or so, cheers
If only there were some sort of campaign group suggesting we transition away from oil and opt for self-sufficient renewable energy, the fastest form of energy to build infrastructure for.
Drag?!
*sounds of Tories actually caring for a moment*
I’m already there. Bollocks to it. Nothing I can do
I made pumpkin soup today. I used an 85p pumpkin from Tesco, and the rest of ingredients came from supplies I already had in.
I thought it’d be a budget alternative for a healthier option, but in the end the cost of baking the pumpkin in the oven for 35 minutes beforehand ending up costing me over a £1 in electricity usage.
With the cost of food exploding a lot of people are going to be be turning towards home cooking as a cheaper, healthier alternative, which is good, but how are they going to manage when the cost of actually running the necessary appliances ends up costing more than the ingredients alone?
