I just can’t see this amount being consequential on any massive scale, and given the accommodation situation it makes sense to leave them where they are
As if these companies will allow their tax obligation increase to a higher rate because their employees enjoy living abroad. If these workers are tax resident in another country then they don’t work for an Irish based company anymore.
