Why would someone store this in a house when they could rent a unit in an industrial estate and garner little suspicion from regular comings and goings?

The chief inspector on site was relatively relaxed about the find, and waxed philosophical about the colour green before heading off to lunch. Poor guy did look tired and overworked though, with his eyes red and eyelids droopy
