They are pretty common, although I’ve never seen one that glows (not really sure if the one in the picture glows either tbh). You can easily fit 5 people comfortably on one
Its less of a glow, and more of a “if you shine a light on it it gets really bright”. Like the reflexes you wear when its dark out.
Looks like a really big flan haha 🍮
I think they’re kind of neat because you can sit facing outwards (“look at the view”) or inwards (“talk to your friends”).
So, basically more hostile architecture disguised as art.
I walk past it almost every day. I find it to be a waste of space
There are some of these near me in Stavanger, too.
Drammen FTW
Strømsø torg in drammen?
The only glowing thing in Norway is the mind blowing amount of collective socialist stupidity. It glows and spread like plutonium nuclear waste. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
No, it does not glow. It just looks like a piece of dirty plastic.
It’s also placed in a super awkward position. It’s a big bus stop and this thing is placed on the outside corner, the only place without a roof or walls.
It’s like.. maybe 2.5 – 3 meters across. It’s a total waste of space.
Sorry to ruin the fantasy I guess.
How interesting. These would be kind of cool to see in the US.
We have two of those at my school. I don’t think they glow though.
