Strange sound that could be heard around the region Zofingen. Me and my friend (living 5km apart) could hear it clearly. any ideas what this noise is?

1. For more info:
   We both heard it around 22:30, it lasted for roughly 15 more minutes from that point. We both believed it to be a siren at first, but this sound doesn’t have any pattern like all sirens do. Also it sounded like it got closer and further away quickly. There were no announcements for siren tests in the area either that we could find.

6. I read in a facebook (for Aarburg iirc) group that it was a train with a malfunctioning horn that could not be turned off and they had to drive back to Bern this way.
   Don‘t know how true that is tho

7. A train screaming because it didn’t want to drive to Olten?
