Rishi Sunak: What will new prime minister mean for Scotland?

  1. Tldr: not granting referendum, no general election, wants Scottish government data to be in same format as UK government data, and probably wants to cut basic rate income tax to 16% but that’s devolved in Scotland so it’ll be for the SNP to decide.

  2. Only leader Scotts will ever except is one that is ethnically Scottish.

Fundamentally they are l a deeply racist sectarian people.

It’s been 1200 years and they still haven’t accepted saxon migrants.

  3. The one thing I hate about this sub is that it has a Scottish bias. I think it’s because most of the sub is English and doesn’t understand the SNP from a Scottish view.

Scotland is fed up of being ignored and left out of decisions. The last pm ignored our elected party and didn’t even try working with them, maybe they wouldn’t be so angry if we didn’t keep getting shafted.

I was remain until now, I just want to be away from a government that hates us and hates anyone without a nanny.

I didn’t even vote SNP but every other party are willing to have some level of cooperation outside of the tories.

Scotland will be more than fine, all opinions from economists are that England will be hurt just as much as Scotland will be if we leave. Scotland doesn’t need to deal with these lunatics that we didn’t vote in.

We get less than 1/10th of the seats in parliament and even with a devolved parliament, we get so much shit pushed on us from a country that doesn’t know anything about us.
