Bank of England expects UK to fall into longest ever recession

  1. It’s bad as it means the UK is falling behind other Northern European countries.

    I don’t really understand the gloating though – the whole of Europe is going to suffer and the massive chasm between Northern and Southern/Eastern Europe seems set to grow ever larger. Especially, in the East which is seeing exceptionally high inflation.

  2. I wish uk to just come back to eu and we all work through this together…

    Also we need to move assembly and manufacturing away from china and into Eastern Europe… friend shore this and reduce supply chain risk at the same time as removing reliance on dangerous dictatorships like china… we should learn from Russia, Iran and North Korea who are all chinas best friends
