This happens a lot these days. It’s pointless and more than a little vindictive to complain about Scotland England and Wales separately when there’s an issue that applies to all of them.
No one cares about Scotland especially with Nicola Sturgeon in charge, let them have their referendum on independence, and if they are stupid enough to vote to leave the UK, we’re should make sure they don’t receive a single penny from Westminster, as they would not survive as a independent country without our support from Westminster.
Sunak is an incompetent hardliner. His grand idea for handling refugees was cramming them in cruise ships and then flying them to Rwanda. His genius plan for social spending was to divert money from deprived areas into rich Tory strongholds. His idiotic “Eat Out to Help Out” fuelled the spread of COVID. The man is a ~~b~~millionaire who’s ~~m~~billionaire wife doesn’t pay taxes. He’s a menace not only to the working class, but to anyone who is not extremely wealthy.
A bit of an exaggeration. The problem with Johnson was that he was incompetent, corrupt, selfish, *AND* very good at getting away with all of those things.
I just don’t think Sunak will be able to bring anything like that level of Teflon to the role. If he’s bad at it, pressure will mount and we’ll be looking for number 4.
I agree. But he’s far easier to shift at the next election than Johnson. They’re no good choices here. Its the lesser evil. We can only hope they try to wine and dine us before fucking us in the arse. We have to hope that the British public aren’t fooled into believing he’s one of us and vote them out whenever the next election is. We also got to hope they don’t oust him a month or two before the election and put Johnson in charge.
Would expect Ian ‘protect the sex pest’ Blackford to say the same no matter who was PM that isn’t SNP really.

The Tory Party is so far beyond compromised right now that it should be nowhere near office, an immediate election is required. Personally think there needs to be some sort of emergency cross party gathering of heads going on right now also to discuss the state of democracy in the UK

It seems he’s hated just because he’s brown, Conservative and his wife has bags of money, and on top of that isn’t British so she has the temerity to pay her taxes in her original country.
I’m not going to claim every decision he made was perfect, but his track record has been quite good, and even Eat Out to Help Out was done with the best of intentions and it was done in August where the transmissibility of Covid was lower, with most seating outdoors. The restaurant trade was fucked at that time and everyone thought it was a risk worth taking.
He was also pretty right about Liz Truss who offered everyone unicorns and rainbows to get power, and found out that doing so **really** fucks the economy
