Those pre-made presents that boots sell.., are the worst presents you can give somebody.
If it’s the “thought that counts”, then buying a deodorant package from Boots and giving it to your teenage nephew (who likely doesn’t even pay for his own deodorants anyway) pretending you cared…. it’s the epitome of a zero thought, lazy ass, no value whatever, corporate inspired present giving.
Fuck me. It’s the ‘meal deal’ of presents.
The fact that they’ll fly of the shelves is very sad.
Dumb question but is seasonality good for the economy? After all Christmas is just a cultural thing right? Wouldn’t it be better to have a more even sprradv of events throughout the year?
