This is the problem with politics being seen as a job rather than a calling. If you’re elected as an MP or MS your children are not your priority, the constituents who elected you are. And if they can’t handle that they’re not fit for office.
More to the point, politicians shouldn’t have access to better childcare options than the public get, if they want subsidised crèches then vote it in for everyone, not themselves.
