  1. I never knew Reddit posts counted as articles but ya learn something new everyday. Apparently some Laois people are sensitive about their towns being thought of as shitholes. They’re forgetting that the same can be said for most small towns in Ireland.

  2. It’s hilarious that Jason McInerney’s response to “Your buildings are shite” was basically “No they’re not. Our town’s lovely…and I’m not talking about the buildings.”

  3. Always wanted to graffiti a Mountmellick road sign to Mountme | Lickme for some reason

  4. “Awful hapes of shite” on a newspaper front page is a stunning achievement for everyone. I’m absolutely delighted I lived to see this.

  5. so the media pays attention to reddit, thats a bit weird, reddit is a media agregation site, and media is reporting on the activities of reddit users

  6. Ha local newspapers desperate to fill space and maybe generate some clickbait revenue are monitoring Reddit.

  7. I like how Tipp town locals have never complained about the bashing they get in those types of threads. They know it to be true

  8. Wait, does Reddit count as “social media”?

I come here specifically to avoid forming any sort of relationships.

  9. Mountmellik needs a bypass road, not only would it drastically improve the traffic problem, it would also prevent people from having to see it.

  10. Doesn’t know the difference between an article and a random comment on Reddit, defends criticism of ugly town with thing that is irrelavent to the ugliness of the town
