Didn’t use the post that much, I don’t like ordering online and never recieve mail beside bills and ads. They are good I guess, better than the private companies like DHL, they often don’t ring and write that they went there but no one answered even though you were at home the whole day…
I srsly gotta ask, do people really have bad experiences with the swiss post?
Stuff usually gets delivered quickly for me, the delivery people I’ve talked to have been friendly, packages never arrived broken for me before, they got some nice additional services and their website is well structured?
I have received packages from the Swiss Post (including Swiss Post Solutions), DHL, DPD, FedEx, UPS and Pflanzer. I can safely say that the Swiss Post is the most competent.
Doesn’t mean I never had issues with them, but they are clearly more reliable.
Compared to the US and Finnish post I have to say I’m exceedingly happy with the Swiss post. Friends are complaining that intercontinental packets take absurdly long (months) thought, while packets to other European countries arrive as expected.
My postman crashed into my mailbox last year while backing up 😂
They paid for a replacement and installation immediately though, so no big deal.
I find them to be pretty competent. Their mail forwarding system is good. But their website is a bit of a nightmare of trying to validate my address, but it’s very fixable.
Swiss post TOPS, not stops, TOPS! Gotta find my glasses…
Literally saved my ass during the pandemic and never once had a single problem
I’m almost more impressed Germany is in 2nd place given how much bigger they are than us or Austria
They finally added paying for import taxes online and this is super convenient now. With depositing of parcels I don’t need to meet postman anymore.
