The UAE Space Agency hosted a group of senior Finnish officials to its headquarters in Abu Dhabi to deepen cooperation in space technology, science, and innovation.
The United Arab Emirates and Finland have a strong bilateral relationship based on decades of cooperation in key fields such as research and technology.
Dr. Minna Palmroth, Director of the Finnish Centre of Excellence in Research of Sustainable Space, and Marianne Nissila, Ambassador of Finland to the UAE, visited the agency’s Abu Dhabi headquarters to discuss ways to guide the development of a sustainable, competitive, and resilient new-age space industry.
They looked into how they may work together to catalyze innovation in the space sector while also benefiting residents in both countries.
The UAE Space Law 2019 intends to create a regulatory environment that encourages investment, encourages the growth of a competitive private sector, and establishes stringent safety, security, and environmental standards for all space-related operations.
The UAE Space Agency is committed to strengthening bilateral connections in order to enhance information and idea exchange. This will help fund new research, technological advancements, the development of a competitive private sector, and inspire the next generation of space pioneers.

I don’t want anything to do with countries that work on slave labor.
