Taoiseach queuing for his booster jab at City Hall in Cork

  1. You could argue that for security he could have it done in private so fair play to him for queuing.

  2. This looks photoshopped. Im not saying it is or he didnt queue but this one picture is particularly uncanny for some reason.

EDIT: Lads will ye calm down. It looks weird because he’s behind a gatepost and is sort of side on the camera like its cropped from an election poster. Did ye even read past the word photoshopped?

  3. Funny how the leader of our country can do this. No risk of assassination. Worst he will get is a few aul ones giving out about the pension increase

  4. Despite some of the cynicism on display here I think the fact political figures and famous people can just go about their business in Ireland and nobody cares is one of the best things about the country. It’s only a few weeks since that Tory politician got killed over in England and between that and the Jo Cox murder you’d have to imagine the days of politicos being out and about in the U.K. are numbered. French polies always seem to have security nearby, America is America so…, but still no bothers in Ireland. It’ll be a sad day if this kind of behaviour by a Taoiseach is no longer possible in the future.

  5. The amount of people who’ve said this is a photo op, chriiiiist.

If he’d gotten a jab at home you’d have the same eejits complaining about “queue jumping”, “one rule for them, one for us”, “the elite don’t want to lower themselves to us”.

I’m no major fan of him, I didn’t vote for him, but the man is just going about his business

  6. I can’t wait to see him getting his colonscopy with a camera handy nearby.

The fact we have to applaud people for doing the done thing is madness.

Isn’t he great for taking the bins out
