7. Fionann is barely old enough to remember the stickies. There was a a cabal of them in RTE. Eoghan Harris being one of the adherents who subsequently did a complete 180.

   Either way it’s just a tired, pathetic joke/allusion that demonstrates the tiny pond these ‘journalists’ populate. All his colleagues will give a knowing chuckle and congratulate themselves for ‘getting’ it.
