Fun thinks with an apartment 😄I asked for a nice modern apartment in a famous Facebook group,and this lady come up with this and asked for 600+€ (without a shower) wow 😄

  10. In Bucharest, I saw two extremes in real estate with similar price offers.
    Very good area, but the apartment looks like after the war or luxury apartment in an area that looks like after the war.

  11. In Romania sellers don’t follow market prices. They ask for the money they need to buy or pay for other stuff. That’s why for example they are more than willing to wait 5 years with a house on the market, trying to sell it for 200k when it is actually worth 100k, because they need 200k and hope in the end there will be a sucker to pay for it.

  12. They’re banking on it being close to Victoriei Square, a major hub here in the city.

    Still, for asking that much they could at least get a bucket of wood varnish and repair that room with the giant mark.

    Anyway, they’re clearly delusional.

  18. She saw that you were a foreigner and hoped she would trick you into thinking “wow this is a steal” when it’s actually anything BUT. From what I remembered you actually offered her a good price for 250 and that area for what that “apartment”(room in an old house turned apartment from what I see) is. I saw in that area apartments(well, technically, they were kinda like this one, a bit smaller I think but at least it had actual bathrooms) with furniture at 300E. At least this was a few years ago, now I have no clue but I don’t think you’d see anything like what I described for more than 350.. at least I hope so…

    Later edit: for what you are prepared to pay you can take a very nice one bedroom, one living room and kitchen with an actual big bathroom pretty much anywhere you want if you don’t want to be right in the middle of the city but around a metro station.

  31. The area this place is in is pretty good. It should be a quiet place. “DorobanÈ›i” is a famous neighborhood for being expensive as fuck.

    Even so, that apartment is so crappy that It doesn’t even matter in what area it’s located in. It’s a shame to keep an apartment like that in such bad shape.

  34. In the last picture they are mentioning 2 baths, maybe they posted a picture only from the small one that is usually, in romania, just toilet and sink.

    I don’t want to comment about the price, just wanted to mention that it probably has a second bathroom, bigger with a bathtub
