8. I’ve also seen these around Phoenix Park near Aras an Uachtarain area. I’m pretty sure they are some Security Sensor technology (security beams etc).

   I believe the company Mitie works in security and intelligence business ,along with facilities and property management.

   I could be wrong ,it’s just a guess based on location of the poles around Presidental property , that they’re for security purposes.

18. I think they’re laser motion detectors additional to the ones already around the Aras and Ambassadors gaff. My mate had similar and other motion detectors around his house when we were kids, we had great craic trying to beat them. That said the beam ones were usually a lot more discreet than these seem.

19. These are IR light barriers, they are connected to an alert system that is monitored 24/7. These can differentiate the IR signature of a human from that of an animal like a Fox or deer, this helps stop false intruder detections. The cameras are also linked to the system and are monitored by the same crowd.
