Hallo! I took bahncard 50 subscription last year and after 1 year contract ended it got renewed automatically on 11th July. I thought the money would get cut automatically but that didn’t happen. And DB sent letters to my previous house as I forgot to change the address in my DB app. Then I left Germany till 10th October for vacation and got to know about late payment letters from the person in my old house during this time. Then paid 69 eur to DB(which included the 2 eur fine) on 28/09 (almost 2,5 months late) and also changed the address in db app. But by then DB has already sent my debt to universum inkasso gmbh. After returning to germany I got my second warning on 2nd November from them to pay up 62 eur . But I never got the first warning letter. I think when db handed over the debt they gave them my old address. Even then my old house didn’t get that letter and neither did I. Here’s the Forderungsaufstellung: https://imgur.com/a/NfAtxGb. Is there anything I can do now? Should I just pay it or reject the claim saying I didn’t recieve the first letter? I would really appreciate help in this matter. Thank you
